Museum of Islamic Art

http://www.mia.org.qa/en/

Museum of Islamic Art or MIA, is one the most attractive place to visit in Qatar.
Qatari spent much money to build this museum, located on the sea in the corniche.
The building is designed by the famous architect, I.M. Pei (Chinese American) who designed Louvre Museum's Pyramid.
Free entrance, free wifi.
There is shop and cafe, and one of the most expensive restaurant in Doha on the top floor (IDAM).
The collection is Islamic items from around the world like Turkey, India, China, Iran etc.
Outside there is a terrace with fountain, and nice view of the sea and the corniche.

Visit on 9 June 2016

I have been here many times, but first time during night time.
I think the outside looks cooler at nighttime.
During Ramadan, they open from 8pm till midnight.
Just realized, the way we appreciate the items in the museum depends on our companion :)
Comments from my friend made me look the items from different angle.

Visit on 15 July 2016
