http://www.msheireb.com/en-us/home/msheirebmuseums.aspx

Visited on 24 December 2016, free of charge.

This newly opened museum complex, just next to Souq Wakif, consists of 4 museums and are really nice to visit.

Radwani House, the nearest building to Souq Wakif, is a traditional host and showed only the house with no exhibitions.

Company House, hosts the history of Qatar oil development, good brief how this country got the oil and gas fortune.

Bin Jelmood House, used to be a slave master house, it hosts exhibition on slavery, old and modern.

Mohammed bin Jassim House, hosts art and painting exhibitions.

Fire Station Museum

New addition to Doha museums.
Used to be a real Fire Station.
The place is nice and relaxing, though the collection is so so, for me.
Not so any items to see, but the cafe in the same complex is good to spend Friday afternoon.

MIA Park

Visit on 28 July 2016.

Outside the Museum of Islamic Art, there is this MIA Park.
The park, started from the museum itself, goes curving a gulf, to the end with a tower like metal monument.
I especially enjoyed laying on the grass field, staring at the city view of West Bay towers.
I saw a cafe with a large seating area, good for hanging out with friends.
The free Wifi is another plus point.

There are also children playgrounds, with trampolines.
And some drinking fountains.

The park opens till late night on Thursday.
Was there till about midnight, but it still opened and still there were many people.
