Went to this resort island by Anantara 6 May 2016 (Friday) afternoon.
We have to book a restaurant or activity, to be able to go to the island.
Then the minimum fee was QAR 200, including QAR 100 voucher to be used in the island.
It seemed they limited the number of people going to the island each day.
The ferry departure point is a lounge (luxury building) just in the entrance of dhow port on the corniche.
We booked a table for dinner in Q Lounge & Restaurant, seeing the photo that the place is floating on the sea.
But in actual, the floating part is only for the Lounge, to drink or smoke shisha, while for dining, it is on the land part.
The food was quite expensive (see the photo of the menu below).
- Wagyu Beef Burger : QAR 120, I think this was the best choice amongst the main menu
- Grilled US Beef Medalion : QAR 180, Colleagues ordered but disappointed, only 300 gr. With the same price, you can get 800 gr. at Butcher Grill at Villagio
The drink was about QAR 30-50.
Day visitor cannot go to the beach and cannot swim in the sea/pool.
We had a tour in the spa, the massage costs about QAR 500 for an hour course.
