Mr. H bought the second night in W Hotel for about QAR 800.
He was lucky, the hotel gave him upgrade to a Suite Room.
We were all amazed by the room.
The decoration, the large space.
There was a living room, with external toilet. So it suits for inviting many friends for a party.
There was a hanging sofa looking out the window.
The bed was surrounded by thread curtain.
The swimming pool was under construction, so the guest can go to Sheraton for the pool and the beach, Mr. H said.
The gym was large and OK, but the view from the window was ugly for the undergoing construction.
I love the cool and cute amenities and the wording play, like they indicate "The Backup Plan" on the spare toilet tissue.
W Hotel is located in West Bay, about 5 minutes walk from City Center shopping mall.
It is not new anymore, opened about 8 years ago already.
The restaurants, Spice Market, Market and La Spiga have good reviews in TripAdvisor.
The club, Crystal Lounge is a popular clubbing place, but the entrance is strictly for mixed group, not allowing only single guys.
Just in front of W Hotel, there is newer Kempinski Hotel, currently the tallest building in Doha.
The other side, there is Governor Hotel.
