Visit: 23 June 2016, dinner
Taste: 4/5
Cost performance: 2/5
Location: The Gate Mall
They have good review in Zomato.
It is said they are unique, offering a new concept of restaurant.
It is like a food court, there are several food stations, we order by saying our table number, they will charge as per our order.
However, during Ramadan, they changed the system.
For the Iftar dinner, they only applied buffet all you can eat for QAR 165.
For me, the food was quite disappointing.
Shangri La's Sridan offers QAR 150 Iftar buffet with better quality.
The sushi corner was really disappointing, only small rolls were there.
I saw the sushi staff was preparing nigiri sushi, also he was holding tempura, but when I asked whether we could order, he said no, we could only choose from the roll sushi displayed.
The pasta corner was OK, they prepared custom order.
The desert corner was OK too. No fresh juice.
The rest was really not worth it the price, I think QAR 165 was overpriced.
However, I enjoyed the place, after finishing our dinner, we moved to outdoor sofa area, where we chatted, drank coffee and had dessert.
