Massage

Massage places are many in Doha.
I think, as the country rule, it's only man to man, or woman to woman.
But I got information, W Hotel Spa, Bliss, got female therapist for male customer.
While each hotel has its own masseur, they are expensive.
Massage in Sharq Village and Spa, the 5 stars hotel managed by Ritz Carlton, costs about QAR 500, so as Anantara Resort in Banana Island.

There are many massage parlors in Doha with cheaper price, many are Thai massage parlors, there are Chinese and Indian parlors too.

Below I listed several places I know, or I have tried.

- Royal Thai Men Spa

Located in D Ring Road.
Thai Massage: QAR 130
Aromatherapy Oil Massage: QAR 170
Went several times, once with masseur named Boy, then 3 times with Chai.
Chai was better and more polite.
Friday opens from 5pm.
Though they have many therapists, they are extremely popular, have to call 44666145 in advance for booking.
This is my favourite place in Doha so far. They got clean and new place and many masseurs.

- Thai Snack
One of the oldest place, in the same location of the popular Thai restaurant.
Visited on 26 May 2016, but only 2 masseurs available, one is the old guy.
Since we were 3, we didn't actually get the massage here.
Thai Massage: QAR 100

- Qatar Massage (Thai Massage)
Located around the corner from Thai Snack.
Thai Massage: QAR 100
Oil Massage: QAR 150
Took Thai massage with masseur named Oo, not bad but shorter than 1 hour.
They have only 4 permanent masseurs.

- Dragon Chinese Massage
Located behind Doha clinic.
I never visited here, but few years ago, I went to a place behind Lulu Hypermarket (B Ring Road) with the same name.
Saw another branch just opposite Villaggio across the main road.

- Al Fairozi Body Care Center
Located opposite the big road from Aspire Park.
Between Thai Restaurant Baan Thai, and another Thai Massage.
It was not like other massage place, there are comprehensive list of service, ranging from hair cut till body bath.
The massage area is located in the right with difference entrance with the grooming area.
They provide Thai and Filipino massage.
Most of the masseurs were Thai.
The Thai massage was not like normal Thai massage, but using oil or cream, cost QAR 130.
It seems there is another branch at Abu Hamour Petrol Station.

- Body Glaze

Just opposite Royal Thai Men Spa on D Ring Road.
There are several types of massage, like Balinese (half time with oil), Swedish, Thai and Aroma Massages.
One hour QAR 165. There is also 30 minutes course.
The place is clean and new.
The massage on the mattress on the floor, the mattress was wrapped by paper tissue.
Don't think will come back again, the masseur technique (from Thai) was so so.
Second time visit was better with Filipino masseur named Christopher

- Magic Touch

The place is maybe rundown and hard to find in Bin Mahmoud, but the only masseur there, an experience Filipino has a magic hand.
